This week is the last week of school

& that I'll be filial to her and be more 懂事 and don't let her worry about me
Last but not least, I hope my grandma will get better and be able to talk to us
As well as my grandpa, to be healthy and stay cheerful!

I'M TAKING UP BASIC THEORY TEST FOR DRIVING! (:

Hee. It's not a sudden urge.
Been wanting to take up the basic theory test since the start of Year 2010.
Have to sign up for the test first.

As for now, getting busier and busier!
Homework piling, CCA workload is ALOT.
It's not as easy as I've expected.
So much computer stuff to type out and stuff.

One word to conclude, tired.

I'll always believe in SS501.
Even though there are news of them splitting up.

Yesterday was fun, surprising and tired!
Met up with Ade, Ain, Charmi, Jol, MR & YJ for K session @ Tanjong Katong Mall
Didn't know that the K place was so far
But all the walk was worth it
Cause we had so much fun :D

FOP Flagday!

Can't believe I'm helping out in Flagday this year
Experienced Flagday last year during my FOP
It's tiring and not easy. Cause we have to ask for donations and the weather is horrible!

This time round, I didn't collect much
Should be around $2 plus? HAHAH!
Volunteered to help out for my CCA
But had loads of fun throughout the entire "Flagday"
We were doing Amazing Race routes, thinking of new games and introducing freshies about our CCA
LOL! We practically multi-tasked

Basically, today it's the best!
We trained to Raffles, walk to Clarke Quay, City Hall, Douby Ghaut and trained to Bugis
The walking is really no joke
My legs ached and felt like stones when we walked to Douby Ghaut
& Games Department have to submit proposals today by 8pm
&& the weather is SUPER HOT today! Cannot tahan ah!

Reached back home at 4pm plus?
Shagged and exhausted
& now I am here blogging
But before that, I was doing the Indoor Games Proposal
Hope most of the games get ACCEPTED
I'm so super lazy and don't wish to think of more games
Plotting games aren't my forte!

When I board bus 88 to the mrt station, one aunty made me malu when I'm trying to sit at the seat next to her and I didn't know she has a friend coming over to sit with her

& I had so much fun today!

It's Friday :D

For the past few days, been going back to school for dance & skit rehearsals
& during those days, I got to know the Sub-Committees more!
Yup. So for the dance, me and Yi Jie are being allocated to dance Sorry Sorry
& Mei Rong in Nobody
But, during the rehearsals, we just dance once the song is played

As for Skit, it's just wonderful!
HAHA! Especially when Wei How substituted Celine for her role as Paris Hilton
Cause we got some parts were Celine needs to seduce Thomas
Yup. It's just super funny and I can't describe in words

For Gifts & Souvenirs, we're doing just great!
MANY MANY THANKS TO YI JIE!
Who spent days after days to fold and stack the trophies out at the same time
The amount of help I can give her it's just by folding the paper triangles
So, a little guilty for not being able to help out in doing out the trophy

Just managed to finish with Mini-Educational Fair on 20th March 2010

I just need some place to say out

Mentoring, this CCA, really is not easy
There's just so much to do
Now we even have to call up helpers for an event
Hais. Really tired
Now we're handling 2 events
& another big one which is FOC Camp

The thought of quitting the committee did come to my mind
Cause quite a few also quit and I got the feeling that I'm being thrown with burdens which I don't have to take it
& we're told by seniors we can't quit now
It shows how irresponsible we are
I regretted not quitting in the first place x(

As for now, I'm trying to endure with my friends
& it's kind of fun at times cause you get to know new friends through CCA
That's the good thing
Bad thing? The stress level, expectations and the number of rejects for a proposal

My aunt just called back to ask how's grandma doing
Really really glad to hear from grandpa that grandma is doing fine
She's able to recognize people and respond when talked to her
I really am so glad
By the way, I didn't mean to eavesdrop at the conversation
It's just something that I want to know

I'll continue to pray for grandma everyday

On the 14th March 2010, went back Malaysia together with my family
Elder sister couldn't go back with us cause she's away for her study trip in Australia
All the best and have fun! Don't forget the souvenirs!

Yup. So we went back to Malaysia to visit grandma who's been in the hospital since 17th February 2010
It's been 1 month. & she has laid in the hospital from then till now
The moment I saw her, my heart really aches. I don't know what to say to her
& without realising ... my tears just start to fall while typing this entry ...
At that moment when I saw my grandma, I really felt so helpless
There's nothing I can do to help her or what
All I can do is just stand next to her and look at her
I hold back my tears. Cause I need to be strong. If not, my mum will start crying too if I cry out
I guess grandma wouldn't want me to cry too
Looking into her eyes, she's trying to tell me something
It's like she wants to go home with us. But we cannot bring her back yet. Not until the doctor says so
Heard from my aunt that the doctor told us we need to be prepared for the worst
Cause dad once told us, he got one friend who's mum also came down with stroke
She got admitted into the hospital and after a few weeks, her family brought her back home
& a few days after, she passed away

I'm really afraid of what might happen to grandma
I won't even dare to think about it
Though I know clearer that our dear ones will leave us one day
So, I learn to cherish every single moment I spend with my family and friends
God bless grandma will be able to overcome this hurdle and probably talk to us like the way she was before
I really love my grandma alot alot ...
I'm praying hard

It's my first time overslept for 1 hr and 30 mins

Yea. So I was very late for the SP Experience today
The teacher thought I wasn't coming
So, he actually changed me to somewhere else
But I got back my facilitator role somehow
Heee. The teacher ain't that bad anyways!

We went for another trial and that's why we're supposed to report early
During the trial, I didn't complete all Pit Stops
Hais. Moved too slow. That's why couldn't get to the last 3 stops

10.10am Start of the BREAK THE CODE!

Had great fun with my Team 8
Though we didn't win, but it's the entire procedure of the trial that counts!
& I can see that all of them worked really hard

Had a small operation on my right eye yesterday

IT'S SO PAINFUL LAH!!! : (

I wouldn't want to think back on what the doctor did to my eye
The doctor is quite rough when he's cleaning my eye
Like cleaning table like that. Can't you be more gentle?

This morning when I woke up, I felt giddy when I'm unbandaging my right eye

& now when I blink my eye, it's painful also ...

There's buffet provided for us and my family and I walked around to see our new living environment
I've asked my mum and she told me it will be ready by end of next month

Just came back from Bugis
& finish packing my luggage to go back M'sia for reunion dinner

They didn't like it. Cause they say it doesn't looks nice on me

Just came back from the Eye Centre
The doctor prescribed some medicine for me and ask me to wait for 2 weeks to see how things go
Got eye infection on both eyes
Quite similar to the one I got when I was 4 years old
The doctor is really cute
He said he can't bear to cut on my eyes cause he treat me as his daughter!
LOL!
Oh well, I'm praying hard.

IDEA was erm bad today?
There's another teacher who came to see our presentation
My group was the last to present
& the teacher didn't even bother to question on our service
Which leaves us a BIG BIG ? here

Not knowingly, found that i had not leave message for 2years
Although official web had changed a bit... but the profile is still the same
My weight is not 63 anymore~~ keke

Had not leave msg for a long times... not sure how to use the system correctly
Weather is getting colder, be more caution to prevent from flu
During this period a lot of people caught flu, must be more caution to prevent H1N1

Truely... shorten the promotion period very sorry
Due to concert.. and other schedule~~ so had to shorten..
Even so, next time will work hard to bring even more perfect & more performances

Felt scared today ...

Was told by my mum a few weeks ago when I showed her my eyes got something wrong
& she told me it might be the same symptom that I have when I was 4 years old

Dad told me I need to get an eye surgery done if not the thing in my eyes will never be gone

It's been ages! Finally got all the MST out of my way
But, the final exam to promote to year 2 is more demanding

Just came back from BP Mentoring Meeting
Discussed loads of stuff that we're required to plan for next years' events

About the OutBreak Camp
It's AWESOME!
Very well organised camp, nice & friendly GLs as well as the organisers
THUMBS UP and CLAPS TO THEM :D

Day 1
I got group 6 for this camp
& our group name is "The Cure"
Suggested by Jasmine, my teammate as well as one of the KidsREAD mentor
There's also Le Qi, Eugene, Thomas and Erick
Our GL, Daniel!
A funny person and I think it's our group that's so quiet that he can't get high
HAHAA!

Played some Ice-breaking games
Like "Good Evening", "CONCENTRATION", "The TuTu Game" (forgot what it's called)
Afterwhich, a game session with all the groups (a total of 6 groups by the way)
& loads more games
Night time!
We played a night activity to compete among the groups
& again I cannot remember the name
HAHA!
I love the game. It's not scary at all when walking around Business Block with my groupmates
There's game stations and collection of clues to go to our next station
Fun, but I feel so dumb when I can't solve the clues
Hopeless at times too. Glad that my groupmates are smart!
End of Day 1

Day 2
Had breakfast at 10am @ Foodcourt 6
Bread, butter, kaya, a cup of Milo and biscuits
After the light breakfast, off for briefing for our outdoor activity, Amazing Race!
Went to City Hall for first station, followed by Harbour Front (VivoCity), Somerset
There's different stations at the different locations
We practically brisked walk real fast! It's tiring but FUN! (:
& again, I feel helpless when it comes to solving of the clues
But on second thoughts, think I manage to help out in one of the clues
HAHAH!
Anyways, lunched outside at our own expense
Completed the entire race and went back SP at around 4.30pm plus
Doze off asleep while standing on the train
Really shagged and exhausted
& that irritating guy keeps on asking stupid questions while on the train
Walked to Foodcourt 5 and sat down to solve our storyline
I couldn't help at first cause I was blur and don't even know what's going on
But, slower I got the situation. Helped our the group to find out the Storyline of Jeremy & Josephine :D
Presented our Storyline and entered the password
CONGRATULATIONS! We got the correct password!
HEEEE HEEE!
Had debrief with GL about Day 2's activity as well as an overall view of the camp
& opinions on our GL
Hahah! No comments on our GL
He did an awesome job. & I couldn't believe that it's his first time being a GL!

Well, the camp is really fun
Just that guy in my group that's making me feel kind of uncomfortable and disgusted throughout the camp
A tico-looking guy. Making use of the 1-36 game to touch girls as well as the true and false game during Day 2 Amazing Race to touch people's shoulder

Super high day for DAC 06 today
We got SUPER high during our last Economics Tutorial
Because we're going back home? HAA!

There's Statistics SPSS test on week 3?!
I've lost touch on SPSS. Oh my, I better retrieve back my feel for SPSS
& there's this IDEA module where we need to do individual product presentation for the first CA1.

One word to describe: TIRED!
Haha! Somehow just feel tired and restless
Cause it's only first week and there's ASSIGNMENTS!
Well, there's new lecturers and tutors
Our class' PACC tutor is really .__. I've got nothing to say

I love my GEM, though I've only just started
Somehow the GEM tutor say it's easy to get an "A"
Who knows? Guess all GEM tutor will definitely say this
I'll definitely work hard!

& I've finally got my pay from my very first job
FINALLY ... Made me wait for around 1 month
I'm not going back there to work anymore

I'M BACK FROM 2 DAY 1 NIGHT CHALET! :)

Pretty shocked to survive the chalet without having much sleep
Though I'm feeling like a zombie now and I still feel like sleeping after my 4 hours afternoon nap

I'm so so happy now! Cause I finally manage to buy the handphone strap for Young Saeng :D!
It seemed to take me ages just by finding them from Choa Chu Kang to Douby Ghaut
Lady luck is by my side today!

Class chalet wasn't that bad
It was more like a chit-chat session throughout
Maybe we didn't get to see each other for more than 1 month
Yeah. So loads of stuff to catchup and stuff
& I'm amazed at the number of different topics that me, Jol, MR, Ade, Shuhui's group & 3 of our class guys can chat on
We can talk from present to future then to something creepy ... just ANYTHING!
It's a pity that we didn't go WWW this time round
Perhaps I may drop the idea of going next time too
Just don't have the enthusiasm anymore. Haaa! Who knows I may last minute change my mind.

It's only yesterday that I'm not at home and the Soompi forum was progressing at such amazing speed of news from the boys arriving at Taiwan
& I salute the fans! They did so much for the boys and the bodyguard is just so COLD HEARTED?

I've been frustrating so much upon which modules to choose
& got so freaking nervous when my timeslot came xD

Glad that Ain got in the same class as me for GEM. At least I've got company
Oh. I enrolled for Designing Cartoons & Animations for Games
Seem like an interesting module. Shall give my best shot for it!

My passion for learning piano just never die. Cause I'm currently learning another piano piece, Yiruma - Kiss The Rain
Saw Young Saeng performed this in one of the entertainment shows years ago. Got motivated by him somehow
& it's also a very sweet piece :D

Went out yesterday with Jol, Ade, MR and Ain :D

Our plan of flying a kite totally failed when it rained at Marina Barrage
& what's more is we don't even know the way to go to fly the kite!
Spent some time taking random photos

After that, decided to train down to Orchard Ion
& I'm amazed at all the shops located there
Almost all branded clothes and all. It's a place which I can't afford
Walked from Orchard to Somerset and finally, our last stop at Douby Ghaut
Sat down at the place opposite Istanna. Chit-chat and took loads of photos
We even ate mooncake when we were there!

Haha! Now then got the time to blog cause exams are over!
Slogged really hard for the pass 2 weeks just to get myself prepared for my modules
Practically, after my last paper yesterday, I got so high all of a sudden
So, went out with my classmates for a mini celebration

Anyways, teacher's day is coming soon
& I'm going back to see how's the teachers doing and also walk walk around the school
Most importantly, is to take this super rare opportunity to meet up with ex-classmates and friends as well

During those days when I'm having my exams, so many things happened
& I got so preoccupied by those stuffs
It's really difficult if you ask me not to think about it and concentrate on my studies
But I guess I managed to do it by forcing myself
I don't really wish to have such stuffs happening again

17th June `09

Outing with DAC 06 to Sentosa :D

We went to Palawan Beach and played Frisbee, ball games and had fun in the water
It's also my first time going into seawater
Cause my mum and dad will never allow me to do that when we go to the beach
Anyways, it was a really great experience for me!
We even buried the guys in the sand!
I wasn't in this picture cause I was taking this photo

After our break, went roaming around Sentosa with Joleen, Mei Rong and Adeline
We wanna make our $3 trip more worthwhile. Hahas. That's why!
It's been really long ever since my last visit to Sentosa
& I can barely remember how Sentosa looked like before

Still waiting for her to send me

Went back to Palawan Beach at around 5pm plus
& had our last game as a class, Captain's Ball
I admit I'm running out of energy
No more strength to go run around and catch the ball
After that, went to wash up and ready to go back VivoCity for our dinner!

It was fun going out as a class
Cause in another way, it helped to bond us together
A pity that not the whole class came

It's been months since I last visited her
Ever since her last stroke, I only get to know more about her health through the phone
It really breaks my heart lots when I see her
She looked weak when she holds on to my hand
& she can't really remember who is who
Hope her health gets better day by day
All I can do now is only pray for her to get well

Went for String Ensemble Practice with my toilet gang
& we had loads of fun during practice

Super hectic. Rushing out project and homeworks
There isn't a space for me to take a breath

Anyways, the first practice for String Ensemble was to learn how to hold the bow
& it's not easy at all
My hand is trembling cause the thing is so long
It's heavy and I'm trying to balance it when I hold on only one side of it
Our slot is only 5.30pm to 6pm. But, we sort of "extend" it to 6.30pm then we leave
Hahas! Cause of our Viola Sectional Leader
He even promise to perform for us for the next practice
We're looking forward to it!
Afterwhich, went for BP Mentoring Interview
It's quite scary
There's 3 people interviewing me at the same time

TERRIBLE MOOOD THIS WEEK :(

I feel so moodless and tired on doing everything

Anyways, went for String Ensemble briefing yesterday
Me, Mei Rong, Joleen, Adeline, Charmi and Ain reached 30 minutes early
So, we laughed and talk crapped while waiting
6pm sharp, we walk towards the clubhouse
& guess what? Most of the members were already waiting inside a lecture room
Hahas! We thought we earliest

The number of people choosing violin did not change. It's still 100 plus people
Damn sad lah! Have to switch over to viola
Hahas! But, viola also nice. There's around 30 plus people if I'm not wrong
The SL of viola gave us paper to write down the timeslot we want for our practice
& practice slot for us is 5.30pm to 6pm, Tuesday :D

As for today, super tired!
Slight fever in the morning and my shoulders ached
Went out for FOM project @ 11.30am
& Econs Lecture then discuss FOM before going home
We went to look for our FOM Lecturer and he says he's going to call our class to answer questions during the lecture!

Tired, aches and yawns!

Happy Birthday Joshua!

I'm back from String Ensemble Camp yesterday
Tiring camp. & I didn't expected it to be that tired
Hahas! Knew lots of people from different courses and they are all super kind and friendly

So, Day 1
Me, Joleen, Mei Rong & Adeline were being separated into different groups
& we know they did that on purpose
Cause we knew each other, so that's why
Afterwhich, we were being lead to play some bonding games
Which I find it a little dull. The senior was screaming like almost going to have no voice
Damn funny! Me and Joleen were laughing like mad!
We were abit late when we gathered together with the rest of the campers
So, we got "sabo" to self introduce ourselves in front of everyone else
Embarrassing!

Next, games
Played quite a number of games
One of the game is so damn funny
Got squirrels and trees. When someone shouts fire, earthquake or hunter
We need to run away for the different scenarios
& I found one group of people. We just started changing the position among ourselves
In the end, we have the thinking we won, so no need do forfeit
But, it's so wrong. We are the ones who kanna forfeit.
Our forfeit is wrong SPSE with our butt

Alright, games and games
Then, splited into groups
I'm in group 4, Forte. Means, loud
Our group at first very quiet. After some time, when we get to know one another, we start to get noisy

Day 2

Where all the activities start
Had breakfast and we're off for "treasure hunt" @ Chinese Garden
Super tiring! Somemore the very is so terrible
HOT HOT HOT!
Got 8 stations or maybe more than that
In every stations, we are told to do different stuffs
If I manage to get the pictures, it will tell everything :D
Had lunch before going back to SP
& we start our dance performance rehearsal plus choreograph the dance
Took really long for us to complete it. Cause the song is 5 minutes long!
Went to bath and continued with rehearsal
& I sweat after my bath even if I'm in a air-conditioned room
Hahas!
Had dinner and it's showtime!
My group was the last to present
All the group's performance were simply awesome!
& we have a retro dance after everything ended
So, all the campers in the dance studio were dancing and laughing like mad
& every single group re-danced their dance
Everyone was HIGH and we had so much fun!
The seniors joined in the fun too and they got even high then us
Went to sleep after taking my second shower for the day
& I just slept went I went back to the Auditorium

Day 3

Last day!
Had Captain's Ball competition among the groups
& my group won! Great job!
Although I didn't contribute much in the game
Hahas!
Prize Presentation and my group got the most cooperative team award
Rewards, oreos ! :D

& as for today, went out to VivoCity after the PACC Tutorial
Trained down to Harbour Front with my classmates cause it's Joshua's Birthday!
A mini celebration for him as well as all the May Babies
Lunched @ Foodcourt then catch Night at the Museum 2 @ GV. Great movie, darn funny!
Before we went home, my class' girls went to buy a birthday cake for him
& we sang song and took photos

I don't like this week!

Been quite unlucky at times and tired for this week
Projects making me go hay-wire at times
& there's this String Ensemble Camp coming up this coming Friday
I need to chiong finish the tutorials for this coming week as well as next week's one
Exhausted!

As for these few days, both Mum & Aunt have been calling back to Ah Ma house to check on how's Ah Ma doing
It's a relieve that she's able to talk properly and regain her appetite
I've wanted so so much to see her. But, I can't
Ah ma, must jiayou!

Semester 1 is coming to an end soon
I'll be having my CA1 after the holidays, which is so weird lah!
Most schools have their CA1 before letting the students go off for their holidays
Unlike mine, the rare one
I will, and definitely, make sure I'm studying super hard to score well for my very first CA1 ! :D

Phew! FOM presentation is over :D

& a super suay day for me!
One of the buttons on my shirt dropped and I've got totally no idea when I dropped it
So I board on the train reminding myself the cover the un-buttoned part
It's still quite alright that it's located near my stomach
Reached Dover MRT, change to another shirt which I always bring along in case I'm cold
Never expected that I'll actually wear it on such circumstances

Anyways, the presentation for our team 1 was good
Though most of us spoke really fast, especially Joshua!
Mr Joe actually liked our video and the way we introduce the next member to talk about the next points
Hahas! Great job Team 1!
There's another presentation we need to work on which is also something to do with F1 once again
& it'll be part of our CA marks the next time round, Week 7
Stress level's PILING UP

The marketing lecturer also stressed us a lot
It's like a wake up call to us
This means I need to work on FOM more :/
& sadly to say, up till now, I'm still blur and lost

Time is not enough!

There's just too many projects that I need to do
& the date dues are just so near
Feeling so exhausted after completing one project after another
I'm so really glad that there are finally things done for FOM project
This includes doing a written report and also powerpoint slides

Mum & Dad went back Malaysia yesterday to visit ah ma, together with aunt, uncle, edmund and xiao yee
2 days back, xiao yee called Mum and was told that ah ma's stroke relapsed
This is really not a good sign
I wanted so much to go back and see ah ma's doing, but my packed poly life doesn't allow me to do so
Cause, if I were to miss one lecture, I think I will be damn blur for the next lecture
Pray hard that nothing bad will happen to ah ma :(

As for today, going school at 1pm
Cause there are no lessons for me in the morning!
There's this string ensemble briefing which I'm supposed to attend
& it ends at 5pm. How sad! Going home at this time

Finally got the time to take a break and update my blog (:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! ღ

Yes! I've purchased the Sims 3 Collector's edition yesterday!
Mum gave to the money to buy it
& I'm so happy lah!
I LOVE YOU MUMMY :3
So, Dad & Mum dropped me and my sis at the side entrance near the bus interchange
We two went up AMK Hub in search of the Funz Centre
Ask a few questions regarding the Expansion Pack before going
The staff were so nice to call up the person overall in charge just to clear my doubts

Went to meet Mum & Dad at NTUC afterwhich
Bought some daily necessities and saw saleswoman promoting new snack bars as well as chips
& I think I ate loads of things on that day

I went home with sis first while Mum & Dad went to see showhouse for Condominiums
Cause need to continue the research for F1
Damn sian!
Anyways, up till today, I'm still doing research
Guess the report and powerpoint must be done by tomorrow no matter what
If not, we'll be late for our presentation

Get it done and over with

Weekends are here!

Sadly to say, Monday will not be a holiday for Poly Students
Cause tomorrow's Vesak Day and it falls on a weekend
While I'm happily thinking that there might be a makeup on Monday
But, no, there isn't!

Anyways, tiring & long day today
Lectures for PACC and FOM followed by EC
We are supposed to present the news article. Sort of like telling the class a summary followed by the facilitator in our group asking some questions
I'm a little nervous, so as ALWAYS, I speak a little too fast
I'll definitely do something to this!

Last lesson, Stats tutorial!
Did Tutorial 1 with our tutor and most of the answers so different from the answers given by the tutor
Hahas! Make us think so much when the answers are that simple & easy to understand
We are introduced to SPSS, a program for collating all the survey's results
Quite okay. I manage to get the hang of it
& we're released 5 minutes earlier!

My FOM group's not done with anything on either powerpoint or report
So, we need to meet up tomorrow to complete doing both!
How sad :(

Hectic week!

2 hours of lecture at MLT 12
Seriously speaking, I know nuts about FOM!
Read also cannot get much information into my head

2 hours of break!
Followed my group of friends to Foodcourt 5 for lunch
Had those kind of packet chicken chop rice
It's $2.80 and I find it quite expensive
I'll just patronise the shop once in a while
There's still 1 and a half more hours before our next class
So, we went for CCA Showcase again :D

This time, I signed up for some CCA's camps
Like the SP Primers, BP mentoring club & string ensemble
It's really shocking that I'm joining the string ensemble huhs?
But, it looks quite fun
& I love violin loads as much as piano too!
Anyways, we were quite late for our FOM Tutorial cause we had to rush back from Foodcourt 5 to Block 21

FOM Tutorial
Did tutorial 1 together as a class with our tutor
& left with 30 minutes to do our group discussion for F1 SWOT Analysis
It's kind of difficult to me
But, it seems pretty easy to the rest of my classmates

I'll continue to perservere and work hard! :D

Super tiring!

Met up with some of my classmates @ Dover MRT
Cause our class rep told us yesterday to meet at 11.30am to go for CCA Showcase
Reached there quite early, but ShuHui reached there much earlier
Didn't wait for everyone to come, cause the time we have to go for the Showcase is only 1 hour

Off to SportsHall and there are loads of people there!
The moment I stepped into the Showcase, I'm sweating like a running tap
Hahas! Super hot okay!
Somemore I'm carrying a lappy in my bagpack
& my shoulders are aching so much by the time we finished touring around
I signed up for the Orientation Programme for Adventurers Club
This CCA don't really suit me I personally think
Cause the trainings are pretty demanding
Need to come back during Sundays for trainings
I'll think twice before thinking whether or not to go for the camp on 31st May

FOM Project!
Basically, my group did nothing during the 1 hour slot for project
Hahas! We are wondering away whether our points for the SWOT is acceptable or not
It's a tedious process that requires us to think through before writing down a particular point

Next, Econs Lecture!
Thank goodness the lecturer ended early
Had lunch @ Foodcourt 6 before doing the Stats Tutorial with my group of friends
& train-ed back home afterwhich

Went school just like any other days

It's Week 3 already!
Projects and groupwork piling up
Overall, among all the projects assigned, I personally feel that I'll face trouble handling FOM
Hahas! Just have a feeling
Don't really quite understand what is needed
Guess I need to buck up and read more to get myself into the situation itself

Anyways, the Swine Flu it's sort of getting worst as the days go by
We're suppose to bring our thermometers to school daily from tomorrow onwards
Which means, temperature taking everyday in the morning

As for today, so much funny things happened
Mei Rong was super late for PACC Tutorial
Cause she thought the Tutorial starts at 9am!
Hahas! & Elaine was very late that she missed the entire Tutorial
Why? Cause she overslept

Ate Subway for the first time in my life
Didn't have the appetite cause my ULCERS are hurting like hell!
ONOW Tutorial!
We were divided up into groups and started designing our rubbish bins
Told by our tutor, DTRM students are actually sharing the idea with us
Means, we make the bins and they make posters to put on top of our bins
I was grouped with Mei Rong & Yi Jie
We made the rubbish bin looked at a pig?

P.S I spelt abuse wrongly :/

Afterwhich, end of school!
Went off with my another group for FOM to discuss on the SWOT Analysis for Casestudy of F1
Basically, we knew nothing much about it
& we got really lost on which direction we should go to
So, went to look for our FOM Tutor
& is nice of him to spare some time to personally explain it to us when we went to look for him in his room

I'm way crazy over The Sims 3 ! ツ

I think the Collector's Edition is pretty worth purchasing
Why? Cause there so much freebies for those who are purchasing them!
But, I need to pre-order them in order to stand a chance getting all the freebies
It's a PITY that I can't go down to ILUMA @ Bugis on 2 June, 2pm to 7pm
Holidays are not even here yet by that time
& even if I go down straight after my lessons, those who came early might have grabbed all the freebies

Damn sad. But! I'm glad that mummy actually allowed me to buy the pre-order card! :D

School for today is quite alright
One more group work added to the list which is the Case Study on S'pore F1
Had two lectures in the morning followed by a break
Went BizIT Library for a short briefing on how to use the ELISER Search Engine to aid us in finding the information that we need
It's quite good I think. It just seems that the things that we wanted to look for is just a click away
Well, hope I don't forget how to use it. I've got poor memory by the way

Anyways, good weather for today
Rained in the morning when I dropped of Dover
Lucky there's shelter all the way to the Business Block
Due to the Swine Flu outbreak, we're required to bring along thermometer for temperature taking someday

I'll be out tomorrow to relax myself, together with mummy & my two sisters

Received a message from Joleen last night
But, only got to know it in the morning
Cause I went to sleep at around 10.30pm
Anyways, meet up at Boonlay MRT Station
I thought I was late cause the meeting time was 12pm
Reached Boonlay and saw Bertrand
Saw Yuanliang but he's still inside the gantry
There's actually 2 gantries. One is nearer to Jurong Point
Waited for the rest to come, but Meirong, Elaine, Yijie & Joleen were quite late
So the guys wanted to go in Jurong Point to see where we can have our lunch

& we had our lunch @ Bento Box

After lunch, trained back to Dover, Singapore Polytechnic
We're almost late for our Economics Lecture!
So, the moment we got off the train, we sped up
It's really lucky that we're just in time for the lecture

After Lecture, cake cutting & eating as well :D
In case you're wondering why I'm cutting the cake, we two are the APRIL BABIES!
& the following month we're also going to celebrate everyone's birthday at the end of each month
So, there's birthday cakes for every month!

This seems like we're cutting a wedding cake? LOL!

Accompanied Meirong to let her snap the Stats tutorial questions using her digital camera
Took quite awhile. But, saves money on photocopying!
Trained back with her and met sis at AMK Hub

It's a super hot day!

The entire day is just too hot for me
Just by making small little movements like walking around the house, my whole body will feel sweaty and sticky
Hope the hot days will be gone quickly and cooling days come fast :D

Anyways, I'm so unhappy when I'm going out for dinner
Mum actually suggested going downstairs for dinner
But, Dad just say that it's been some time since we last went to Thompson Road there for dinner
I couldn't do anything to protest against Dad
& by the way, he ain't hungry at the point he suggest going there
So selfish of him! My stomach is hungry for food okay!
By the time we reach there, it's already 7.30pm
Packed with so many cars and our car is parked really far
Walked all the way to the shop and there's also lots of people
Wait for 10 minutes before getting seated
& I just gobbled up the food the minute we were served

The Genting Fun Drive is here once again!
Mum's thinking of signing up this year
It's from 12th June to 14th June
Actually, I feel a little bored from going Genting every single year
Cause I'm so familiar with most of the gaming facilities there
Anyways, it's just a short break to relax ourselves
So, guess I'll be going afterall

As for now, have to work hard on the modules I'm taking!

What a week it's been!

Poly life isn't that simple as I thought
There's projects assigned to us and we are required to work in groups
Upon all the modules that I've gone for the lectures, marketing doesn't seem to be that okay to me
Sounds kind of greeky!
Anyways, have to work really really hard to get a place in University
That would be my goal as for now

I must say that the lecturers in my school who lectured my class or tutor my class are really nice and friendly people
Some I would think they have a unique way of presenting themselves, as in the way they speak
Hahas!
There's a module called Effective Communication
& we were told to write an essay of not less than 200 words
I think the teacher wants to see if we need extra lessons for english
Hahas! Guess I'll be one of them?
It's like ever since secondary school days in Secondary 1, I'll always be asked to attend extra lessons for English

Alrights! Weekends are here
It's time to give myself a short break and also catch up on the modules which the lecturers have gone through

Okay! School is super tiring for yesterday
Got to know new terms that are used in Econs & Stats
Not really easy to understand
& I'll need some time to digest in
Hahas! First day of Econs lecture and I went late for class together with my classmates
The lecturer wasn't very pleased with us
So, today, by hook or by crook we will definitely reach there on the DOT!

Next! ITAB1 lecture
It happens that the lecturer is our PTM!
He's quite funny and cracks jokes with us
Throughout the entire lecture most of us were chit-chatting
& I didn't really catch what most of the things the lecturer told us
Hahas! We learnt how to create new e-mails like the usage of Bcc & Cc
I've completely no idea what are those!

Anyways, our lecturer let us off really early to go for our lunch
Cause he knew we were waiting to be dismissed
So yups, early lunch @ Foodcourt 6
Afterwhich, roamed around with my classmates to the library near to our Business Block
& it's packed with loads of students
We left as there isn't a place where we could sit down
Roamed around once again and saw the guys in our class
& we went to find seats and switched on our lappy to kill some time

Econs tutorial!
The room is not even open
Wait for awhile outside Level 3 photocopying machine
Played some games which requires us to crack our brains
& eventually, the group that I'm in won!
LOL! I didn't really help much though. Kind of feel bad :/

Finally, last lecture Stats!
The lecturer is also our tutor
He wanted to extend the duration of the lecture
But, other classes aren't happy about it
So he just have to end it at 5pm
It's kind of bad to treat lecturers like that
Stats seems quite appealing to me
At least I can understand a few terms

After dismissal, went of with adeline, mei rong, xi ying, yijie & joleen to popular
& I wonder why I'm going there when I didn't buy anything in the end
Hahas!
Adeline managed to purchase the Econs textbook
The rest of us will be buying today

Happy Birthday Jocelyn Sim! :D

It's a fresh start of schooling for all Year 1 Poly Students, that includes me
Met up with my classmates before going to the classroom
Cause I didn't really know the way around there

The tutorials/ lecturers looked friendly and jokes with us during ONOW
It's call our nation our world
Sounds a little like studying about social studies
Anyways, our class' PACC lecturer cum tutorial teacher is really nice
She showed us to some webpages that we might need to access in our future lessons
& everything is all accounts, accounts and so on
Hahas!
We even played the AccountPoly game again today
We've actually played in during our last day of orientation
But, it's fun. Cause we are basically selling & buying DIAPERS!
2 hours break!
Rushed over to level 3 to buy our Statistics Notes as a class
& it cause $15 :/
There goes 3/4 of my money!
Hahas! Still left with $2 to eat for lunch. How pathetic!
Next, off to SP Popular Bookstore for those who wanted to buy the IT Textbooks & Accounts Book
Took quite awhile cause the queue was pretty long
Next, Auditorium! Also for those whose Ez-link are available for collection
Finally! Lunch and our class went separate ways
Some of us went to Foodcourt 4 and some, Foodcourt 6

12pm. Our next lesson starts. It's located at T2265
The group of us who ate @ Foodcourt 6 reached there early
So, cam-whored while waiting for the rest of our classmates and the lecturer
Basically, today's only sort of like ice-breaking, getting to know the lecturer
There's also worksheet where we write down our role when we were between which age
Like eg, 1-10: daughter, student all the way till beyond 80 years
The guys in our class were all wondering we girls would all want to get married at the age between 21-30!
Hahhas! But, it's not
Another activity was, the goals we set for in education, career and etc
We got dismissed 5 minutes early

& I trained back home with Adeline, Charmi and Jiaqi (who stayed around AMK) :D
